LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF.......

  Firstly, I would like to say hello and thank you for clicking on to my blog!

I am going to apologise in advance for this long winded rambling post...but I feel if I am going to start blogging then i should probably explain how I have got here.

From a young age I have always loved fashion and makeup, I found myself being the little girl who would totter off in her mums size 5 heels, wearing bright red lipstick (mainly on my cheeks, rather than my lips) after applying my makeover. 

Thankfully, for both mine and your sake, I am actually half decent at make up now! As years passed, I found myself becoming more and more interested in the concept of make-up and fashion, allowing my collection of clothing and beauty products to grow over the years. I found myself watching various beauty and lifestyle vloggers on Youtube and becoming so engrossed in everything they say and do. I have always seen them as somebody to aspire and look up to, hoping one day I can be like them. 

I also love reading and writing, which again brings me back to my blog, I've never felt comfortable nor confident enough to be able to sit in front of a camera and talk about my interests and things I like and enjoy...but then I discovered blogging and instantly I knew it would be the thing for me. With my growing love for writing I felt this could be something I could work towards.

There hasn't really been anything in my life so far that i felt so passionate about, and then i became introduced to the world of beauty and fashion! I love trying on new outfits and putting together pieces of clothing that somebody else normally wouldn't and caring about how i look and creating different styles for myself, this included the make up side of it all too....I've always had a fairly creative eye, this being supported by my interests in Art and Textiles. Thus leading me on to some basic things you need to know about me. 

My name is Carly-Louise, but most of my friends call me Carls. I am seventeen years old, and I live in Surrey, in the UK. I am currently at Sixth Form studying for my A-Levels, these being.....English Langauge, Media Studies and Fine Art Textiles. I also work part time in retail, every Saturday and Thursdays after college. I love socialising and going out with friends and obviously...I adore shopping (but i am slightly unsure my bank account agrees). I also enjoy the little things in life, like going out for walks and sitting on the sofa with my family watching a film.

I live with my Mum, Dad and both my brothers in a small village. Growing up I had a very happy child hood, and having many fond memories from it. 

So! I'm sorry this was so long, and if you have made it this far, thank you! 

I guess in a nutshell, what I am trying to say is you can expect some chatty, lifestyle posts. As well as Style Logs and Make up reviews/tips kind off posts. I hope you enjoy the content of my blog, and if anybody does ever read this and wants to make any suggestions for future blog posts, then I would love to hear from you!
